This chapter aims to determine the connection between various quality analysis factors of trabecular pattern in digital panoramic radiographies and forearm bone mass density (BMD) as measured by DXA. Dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) was used to develop the study on 68 individuals, of which 9 were men and 59 were women (19-73 years old). The trabecular bone morphology in the panoramic radiographs was evaluated using the fractal dimension (FD), connectivity (C), and overall number of "bright" pixels (ET). In the DXA test, the forearm's bone mineral density is evaluated to determine who is most at risk for osteoporosis. The link between DXA tests and the role played by FD, C, and ET dental radiographs in identifying people at risk for osteoporosis was examined statistically. The subjects were 43.85 years old on average. A 5% level significant association between the FD, ET, and C variables was discovered in the examination of the trabecular pattern (Pearson correlation test). Tests for correlation revealed no discernible relationship between DF and BMD. The study revealed relationships between the variables, identifying changes in the trabecular pattern. When, for instance, a diagnostic investigation of pre-implant bone quality is required, it should be considered that analysing the bone or trabecular alveolar process is not connected to BMD with FD.
