The present study aimed to report the diversity and distribution of the Dermaptera fauna of Andhra Pradesh, India. We conducted survey at different locations in the Rajiv Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary, Andhra Pradesh, during March 2022. We collected specimens from different habitats by digging, hand picking and using light trap. In the present study, we report 5 species under 4 genera belonging to 3 families of Dermaptera and all these five species are new addition to the Dermaptera fauna of Andhra Pradesh, India. Previously, two species were known from the State of Andhra Pradesh and a total of 7 species are known at present.
