The morphological characters (number of nodes, distance between nodes, stem circumference, petiole length, leaf length, leaf breadth, number of flowers, length of pedicel, length of peduncle) had shown significant both negative as well as positive relationship with each other for the positive as well as negative growth and development of the plant at P=.01 and P=.05. The various meiotic images were captured and the mean value (392.33±247.69) and meiotic index (49.72) of prophase was high. The overall meiotic index was recorded as 57.45.
