Abstract

The study included conducting laboratory experiments in the laboratories of Biology Department / Science College / Mosul University to study the Allelopathic effects of chickpea aqueous extracts were prepared at concentrations of 3,5,7% in germination and growth of three species of Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) ,result show various effect on seed germination percentages and a significant decrease in seedling shoot and root lengths by aqueous extracts of chickpea in all species except the shoot length of Terbol was increased in 3% and plumule dry weight. when detecting f orm secondary compounds in chickpea extracts in this study showed that contain: terpenes, saponins, resins , Alkaloids, and Tanins , but gave a negative result in detecting Steroides. The cellular study showed a variation in division coefficient between the increasing and decreasing coefficients due to the effect of allelopathic compounds released from plant compounds. When an increase in the division coefficient is associated with this increase, a decrease in the telophase coefficient.
