Abstract

The reviews on sweet orange under drip irrigation pointed that quality parameters like as juice content, total soluble solids, and acidity were significantly higher at 60% cumulative pan evaporation under drip irrigation with saving water 12 to 18%. Few of the reviews focused on about 20 to 60% higher water use efficiency was observed at a different location with 48.04 per cent of water saving was observed under 50 per cent drip irrigation compared with surface irrigation. Most of the reviews highlighted on fertigation resulted in highest canopy volume, fruit weight, TSS, juice content and yield with 20% depletion of available water content along with fertigation as 500:140:70 of NPK.
