Abstract

In this paper, comparison of Cosine and Sine (CAS) wavelet and Hermite Cubic Spline wavelet based methods for the numerical solution of Fredholm integral equations is proposed. From the computational viewpoint, the comparison shows that the Cosine and Sine (CAS) wavelet method gives good accuracy, efficient and easy to use. The numerical results of the proposed method through the illustrative examples is presented in comparison with the exact and existing method identified by Maleknejad et al. [9] are shown in tables and figures, which show that the validity and applicability of the technique.
