Abstract

Code based public key cryptosystem has become an interesting alternative to the existing public key cryptosystem. Despite its large size key, the efficiency of encryption and decryption process allows us to combine this with the fuzzy commitment scheme. In this paper, we have combined McEliece cryptosystem with the fuzzy commitment scheme. The proposed code based fuzzy commitment scheme has significance in the areas where errors can be tolerable up to a considerable level.
