Abstract

The features of clinical manifestations in patients with salmonellosis with suspected surgical diseases and the tactics of managing such patients were studied. Case histories were analyzed in 13 patients with confirmed salmonellosis (with gastrointestinal form - 10, generalized form - 3), previously hospitalized in a surgical hospital with suspicion of various surgical diseases. The conducted studies have established the complexity of differential diagnosis at the primary stage due to the similarity of the clinical manifestations of diseases. And only dynamic monitoring of patients, and in some cases the need for surgical intervention, made it possible to clarify the diagnosis.
